610SP: Soy Gel™ Sprayable Coatings Remover

  • $24.95

When your project has a lot of square footage, rely on BLUE BEAR® Soy Gel™ Spray 610SP Sprayable Coatings Remover. Our formula combines the reliability of Soy Gel, a longtime favorite of contractors and remodelers, with the ease of a specially designed formula that can be used in HVLP or industrial airless sprayers. Made with American-grown soybeans, Soy Gel Spray 610SP is low-odor, easy to use and provides the same powerful cleaning as our gel formula.

  • Effectively removes multiple layers of paint, lead-based paint*, varnish, enamel, urethane and other simple coatings in one application.
  • Works on wood, metal, concrete and masonry
  • No methylene chloride
  • Average coverage is 125 square feet per gallon

*Lead becomes encapsulated, preventing airborne particles and allowing for safe removal.  Dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

APPLICATION: Test in a small, inconspicuous area before beginning project. Apply Soy Gel Spray thickly with a 3 or 4 stage HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) sprayer with a 2.5mm tip/needle, or an industrial airless sprayer with a 519 (.019 inch) or larger tip and a pressure setting of 3,000 PSI or higher. Applying too thinly will cause Soy Gel Spray to dry out before removal is complete. When coating begins to buckle, check with scraper to see if it is softened down to the surface. If not, wait longer and recheck. When the coating is completely softened, remove with scraper.
